WHAT ARE FINE ART SCHOOL PORTRAITS?

Fine art school portraits are a modern take on the traditional school photo. Rather than props or brightly colored backdrops, portraits are simple, classic and timeless. Children are photographed against a black backdrop with portraits available in color as well as black and white. I provide a comfortable, fun experience during the session that encourages children to feel at ease and let their personality shine.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

I work directly with daycares and preschools, as the school portrait photographer. 

I offer all online ordering and downloading for the convenience to preschool staff and to families. Parents will be given a password-protected online ordering gallery. Galleries are organized by a grouping which makes sense for the school. Each child will be provided 2-5 images, presented in both color and black and white. ​I respect each child's unique personality and will never force children to smile. However, some children will be eager to give me many different expressions; so for this reason, I provide a minimum number of images but some children will have a larger gallery. The family may choose any or all poses they want printed.

I also provide boutique product choices such as canvas gallery wraps, metal prints and digital images for future printing and archiving. I provide all equipment and personnel needed for photo day.

I provide the school with all high resolution digital files to use for their own use.

To simplify the process for schools, I handle all questions or concerns with families regarding fine art school portraits. Upon booking, schools will receive an informational sheet with details for families; including tips for photo day, the ordering process, delivery of portraits and my contact information.  I strive to keep the experience positive and as simple as possible for both the school and families

ARE THESE IMAGES EXPENSIVE?

I have a range of products with competitive pricing to fit any budget. Nothing is due up front before families can see their child's photo. I offer a variety of packages, a digital download option and a-la-carte products to fit everyone's needs. I also donate 10% of my profits back to the school to be invested back into student enrichment

DOES THE SCHOOL SIZE MATTER?

I am able to accommodate schools of varying sizes. If the school is larger, I will provide an assistant on photo day.

WHAT TIME OF YEAR DO YOU CONDUCT THESE FINE ART SCHOOL PHOTO SHOOTS?

I work with each individual school to schedule shoots any time during the academic year.
